Question: Im 20 weeks pregnant with low lying placenta is there any harm sleeping on my back instead of sides?

Answer: Hello dear. There is no harm but it is not useful as well and above all when you lie on your back the enitire pressure of your baby is on the back bone which make it painful as well. On the other hand Sleeping on your left side will increase the amount of blood and nutrients that reach the placenta and your baby. Keep your legs and knees bent, and put a pillow between your legs.
