Question
Answer: hi dear! When the placenta is on the back wall towards the upper portion of the uterus, it is considered the placenta posterior fundal. This is considered the best location for the baby to be in as it allows the baby to move into the anterior position just before it is born. so dont worry dear. take care.

Question: Hi.... Till last month scan it was posterior fundal placenta but now it is anterio fundal placenta is there any problem in normal delivery?
Answer: Hi dear, Usually anterior placenta could provide more cushioning to your baby and makes wall between your belly and baby,so you might feel your baby move less.notbto worry,as your placenta would provide same amount of nutrition to your baby as any other placenta. The risk in future could be the direction of placental growth up or down .if it starts growing downward, there are chances that it blocks the birth canal and you might start bleeding.resulting into emergency c-section. usually by end of third trimester, placenta pushes upwards.not to worry

Question: I am pregnant, 8month but my sonography says complete Placenta praevia so how can overcome dis problems for normal delivery
Answer: Hi Dear! Placenta previa is a condition where the placenta is formed at such a low line of uterus that it covers the cervix (opening of the uterus) partially or entirely which decreases your chance of vaginal delivery. It may occur due to any prior surgical procedure in Uterine cavity or for scarring upper lining tissues in uterus. It may cause heavy bleeding, premature birth of baby etc. However there are chances thst the placenta may move up automatically at a later stage of pregnancy as your uterus keeps on growing. You should take rest as much as possible, avoid climbing stairs, dont lift weight. Dont be dissappointed there are many successful stories of placenta previa who has given birth to healthy child, incase you are a first time Mom i would suggest you to be mentally prepared for C-Section delivery. Hope this helps!
