17 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I would like to know about cervical stitch..which week it is done??Is there any side effects associated with it

Question
Answer: Hi. There is no specific time for cervical stiches as its done when some one face the opening of cervix before the time. Some face it in 17 week, some in 23 week or so. So its open for you now tgen your doctor would ask for cervical stitches as soon as possible this is also a rare case. You will need to do take complete bed rest at least for 15 days and further your doctor would advice according to your condition. You just need to take lot of care of your self. So be in doctora guidence dear. Good luck.

Question: i would like to know about painless delivery...is it safe for the baby or have any side effects?
Answer: No major side effects. As I was told by my doctor at the time of my delivery, due to it delivery time gets extended, and sometimes doctors hv to do a foreceps delivery (means taking out baby with the help of some tools) but it is completely safe for ur baby and u. I would recommend u should go for it, since labour pain is too painful to bear and one gets fully exhausted by the time baby has to be delivered which can result in many complications for baby and the mother.

Question: Dr., i would like to know what is the best decision for family planning? Are there any side effects or complications to it in the future. What is the operation like? Is it it Tubectomy or any other...
Answer: hi dear! so normally doctors suggest to get the intrauterine device put like mirena . once inserted you dont have to worry about next 5 years , there are also implanon but they expire after 3 years. and yes you will have to visit a doctor to insert and remove it. its not something you can do it at home. and this intrauterine devices are reversible thing means incase if you want to get pregnant later on it can be removed and everything will be back to normal. for more permanent method of family plannings , operation is suggested, which is tubal ligation in females and vasectomy for males.
