20 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I've got NT scan and everything is normal. I am 13 weeks pregnant, I have couple of questions 1. Is double marker test compulsory? 2. Can I get it done now ?

In fact it is detection of pre-birth conditions of the fetus and is usually done after 8 weeks of pregnancy up to 14 weeks. You can contact your gynaecologist to know if it can be done now or you can you can get triple marker test done which usually done between 15 to 20weeks of pregnancy which detects genetic disorders in baby .
