13 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I my thyroid TSH level is 5.5 3 in 1st semester of pregnancy.doctor gave me medicine of 50 mg.will it effect in baby's health?

Answer: Your thyroid is too much and the best thing for you is to take thyroid medications. It’s better not to rely on home remedies to control thyroid as it might work or might not.     after taking thyroid medicine for 1 and half month I did the thyroid test again.now my thyroid THS is 1.67 is it normal now.should I continue with medicine.?
