6 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I'm v5 weeks 6days pregnant..in altrasound just sac is visible..no fetal pole is seen..i'm worried what does that mean?

Answer: Hi! If you have been to Doctor for the USG at 5 weeks and only gestational sac is seen without fetal pole, there are chances that the Doctor might ask you to do a Transvaginal Ultrasound or an USG after a couple of weeks as this could be able to detect the fetal pole. Its normal in many pregnancies and moreover 5 weeks its like a dot to understand anything of it and its comnon too, dont worry do as the Doctor say, wishing you all the luck to get a positive result soon..
Answer: It's too early to see embryo and detect heartbeating. Repeat sonography after 1 week to confirm baby growing and detect heartbeating.
