Question: Dr. Sumaiya sayed please help. I need your consultation. I am 7 weeks 4 days preg. I was not comfortable with TVS so i did abdominal ultrasound today. Baby's heart rate was 112. Is it ok. Anything serious to worry about. Is my baby healthy. Is there any way to increase baby's heart rate?
Answer: Hello dear, By the time you are seven to ten weeks pregnant, your baby's heart will be beating about 170 to 200 beatsper minute (bpm). You can do only one thing. Sleeping side helps you only. better is to sleep on your left side. Sleeping on your left side will increase the amount of blood flow and oxygen that reach the placenta and your baby. Hope it helped ,Take care urself...
