Answer: Hi dear, At this stage of pregnancy,most of the pains and aches are normal.hip pain could be due to the result of growing baby.the pelvis is expanding to incorporate baby in uterus and also helping you for future labor pains.all the muscles and bones around abdomen go though such stress.i would advice you not to sit in one place for long.try to relax hip muscles by walking around and staying active.you can put,cold or hot compress on the hip too.mild massage would help too. Increase in blood volume and other fluids along with baby weight,your legs gets stressed out a bit.it takes the whole body weight and hence it pains and cramps.try massaging with warm oil and be active no matter how much it pains.keep your legs elevated.and never sit and stand in one place for long.decrease your salt content in food.drink plenty of water to avoid water retention in body which adds pain to legs.alao look for any protruded veins,could b vericose veins or spider veins which are common in pregnancy.

Pregnancy causes a lot of stretching and loosening of muscle, the growing uterus pushes al other internal organs hence a little bit of pain here and there is normal, as far as the leg cramps r concerned its becausr of the back, the back supports the weight of the body and due to growing weight the lower back as well as leg keeps cramping or aching, there is not much you can do about except put a warm bag at the lower back, walk daily, correcting postures, sitting with a lot of back support like sitting pillows or cushions etc., keep wiggling the toes to help in good blood circulation, a light massage from knees to feet can help and above all keeping the body hydrated is also very important..
