Question: Cqn I introduce Oats to my 10 months baby? If yes then please tell the recipe.

Answer: Hello dear. Yes oats can be given to babies once they are 6 months. I used to first saute them then add boiling water. And some formula milk to it. Thats is how my daughter liked it. After 12 month started making the way we used to have it. Hope it helps.

Answer: Hi dear, yes u can give oats, it's healthy. Oats porridge: Take 2 tbsp of oatmeal cereal mix in a saucepan. Add ¾ cup of water and mix well with a whisk. Make sure there are no lumps remained. add sweetner at this stage. Give a quick stir. Cook the porridge for 5 minutes until it becomes slightly thick. Then add cow's milk if using. Cook it further for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Cool it down and serve warm. If using breastmilk/formula, add it once the porridge is cooled down. Oats khichdi Wash moong dal and soak it in warm water for 10 minutes. Slice onions, chop tomatoes finely. Wash and Chop all vegetables into bite size pieces. Chop ginger finely. Set aside. Method Heat a pressure cooker with ghee. Add cumin seeds. Let it crackle. Then add onions and ginger. Saute them nicely until the onions turn golden brown. Once onions becomes transparent , add tomatoes. Fry tomatoes until the raw smell of tomatoes leaves and become mushy. Add chopped veggies, pepper powder, turmeric powder, hing and required salt. Give a quick stir. Then add soaked moong dal and saute them briefly for 2 minutes. Then add oats and give a quick stir. Add required water and bring it to a boil. Then close the lid of pressure cooker and cook everything in a medium flame for three to four whistles. Once the pressure releases, open the cooker and mash the khichdi with a spoon slowly, top with ghee if required. Serve the Oats khichdi with curd.
