Question: I have placenta anterior..is there any problem??

Question
Answer: Hello! Anterior means it's on the front of your uterus. Most placentas implant along the back. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just like being left-handed. Normal but less common. However, it means you will probably feel the baby move later, because it's like an extra pillow to cushion movements.  The good news is that anterior placentas "move" more. Placentas don't really climb higher, but your uterus stretches as it grows, and your placenta will stretch up and away from your cervix.

Question: Is there any problem in anterior placenta?
Answer: Hii The placenta typically attaches to the uterus in the back (posterior) of the uterus, though it can attach anywhere, including the sides, top, bottom  and the front (anterior). So an anterior placenta is a placenta that has attached to the front of the uterus. It is diagnosed during an ultrasound.Though having an anterior placenta isn’t a problem for the most part, there are some things that can be a bit… annoying. An anterior placenta can make those little things that help connect you with your baby in utero harder to uncover. It can just affect some of the things like may be u will feel baby movement late, also it takes more time to feel baby heart beat as well difficult to map baby position.  All the best.

Question: Is there any problem to have anterior placenta??
Answer: Congratulations on your pregnancy and all the best for your motherhood. Anterior placenta would be fine, nothing to worry. It wouldn't cause any harm. The placenta develops wherever the fertilised egg embeds in your womb. An anterior placenta is positioned on the front wall of your womb, on your belly side. Take care.
