Question: I have a pain in my left side of back ??
Answer: Dear if the pain is only on one side then it can be because of sciatic pain. It happens when the nerve is pressed. It happens to me also during my pregnancy. So it can be very painful so please avoid any sudden movements. Keep as active as possible, as this will help you to recover. As you try to do your normal activities, it's all right to feel a bit of pain, provided you pace yourself. Watch your posture and try to keep your back slightly arched. When sitting, use a small bolster cushion or a rolled-up towel behind your back to support your spine. Try not to lift anything heavy. If you do have to lift something, bend from your knees and keep your back straight. Keep the object you're lifting close to your body. Listen to your body and stop doing whatever makes your pain more severe.Try not to stay still for long periods. Resting in bed for longer than short periods is unlikely to help. Sleep on your side with a pillow or two tucked between your knees. Sleeping on your side is best for your baby

Answer: Hello dear Back pain during pregnancy is a common complaint, and it's no wonder. You're gaining weight, your center of gravity changes, and your hormones are relaxing the ligaments in the joints of your pelvis. To get relief try these remedies: 1. Take rest as much as possible as strenuous physical activities will aggravate your pain. 2. Have warm water baths as they help in relaxing strained muscles and muscle pains. 3. Use a hot water bag or a cold pack to alleviate the pain.
