Question: My 32 week ultrasound report shows that AF-1 is 19 c.m. Is it ok? And what is to done to keep the AF-1at normal level.
Amniotic Fluid Index or AFI is considered to be normal at 8-18.
Medium AFI level is approximately 14 from week 20-35.
After that it keeps reducing and prepare for birth however if its 19 now its more than normal.
Its a condition where you have more amniotic fluid in the sac and your Dr. may prescribe meds or use a process calles amniocentesis to drain the excess water which can be harmful for the baby and it is associated with risk factor like pre term birth or placental abruption etc.
Please follow Dr. s instruction.
Hope this helps!
Question: Hiii..i have done ultrasound at 30 week and in that baby weight is only 1100 grams ...is it ok or not ...plzz rply..plzz
At 30 weeks baby should weight around 1.3 kgs, there is a short of 200 gms, which i guess will be picked up by baby soon.
Please have a healthy diet lots of fruits, veggies, milk, curd, cheese, legumes, pulses, sprouts, soybean, peas and beans, chicken, fish, eggs, carrot, sweet potato, nuts, whole grain cereal etc.
Have plenty of water.
Keep yourself active.
Discuss with the Doctor if he wants to prescribe any supplements for the weight gain of the baby.
Be positive and good luck!
