36 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I had done HIV,HBsag,HCV,VDRL all d tests in 1 aug'17...now i have changed my gynae..n she said do it again all d above test...my question is it really needed again?

Answer: If the tests are 6 months old..doctr prescribed to get it done again but also it depends on doctr, sometimes they do not ask to get it done even the reports are one year old.

Question: Hi...I am 12 weeks pregnant with no problems faced so far however my doc has recommended me so many tests to me and my husband. Are these many test actually required? Complete hemogram, vdrl, hbs ag, hiv 1&2, h v, thyroid profile, torch profile, lft & kft, urine r m c s. Answer: Tests taken to you is common. But tests for the husband i have not heard of. Have a second opinion when a different doctor.
