Question: I am 5 week pregnant. I have little brown spotting from last two days with very little cramp? Spotting if normal stops within how many days?
Answer: Hello dear. This means it has a lot of blood vessels, so it can bleed easily. If your cervix is irritated during pregnancy, it may cause some brownish-pink discharge. This can happen at any point during your pregnancy. It may be caused by intercourse a cervical check by your doctor, or an infection. It would settle down gradually. If not please contact your gynecologist. Take care.

Question: I am 6 weeks 3 days pregnant. I have brown spotting from 5 weeks onwards. Is there any issue ?
Answer: Hello! in most cases, it’s completely harmless. The most common cause is irritation: As you know (or will soon find out), the surge of hormones and increased blood flow to the cervix can make it super-sensitive when you’re expecting. So sometimes, sexual intercourse or a pelvic exam can aggravate your cervix, resulting in a bit of brown discharge or even light spotting.
