Question: I am 5 week pregnant and I am.having back ache along with mild lower abdomen pain is it normal
Answer: Congratulations on your pregnancy and all the best for your motherhood. During pregnancy, your body makes a hormone called relaxin that allows ligaments in the pelvic area to relax and the joints to become looser in preparation for the birth process. The same hormone can cause ligaments that support the spine to loosen, leading to instability and pain. Here are a few tips that might relieve you from back pain : Ice or heat packs. Sleep on your left side, and use a support pillow under your knees. If these dosent help, please consult your gynecologist for further treatment. Some abdominal pain during pregnancy is normal: After all, your organs are constantly shifting, your uterus is expanding, and your ligaments are stretching. However if the pain is severe and unbearable, you'll have to contact your gynecologist immediately. Take care.

Question: Hi..I am 8 weeks pregnant..is it normal to have slight pain in the lower abdomen sometimes?
Answer: Hello Some abdominal pain during pregnancy is normal: After all, your organs are constantly shifting, your uterus is expanding, and your ligaments are stretching.  When I was m 8 weeks and I had been cramping for about a week. They were pretty strong cramps that feel like premenstrual cramps but there has been no blood. From what I understand, it is completely normal. Everything is just moving around and can be painful. I think it will go away around 9 weeks. (Hopefully) Hopes this gives some peace to you. I know I was nervous when they first started.

Question: Hi i am 14 weeks pregnant.. sometime i have pain in lower abdomen.. and, also suffering from back ache is it normal?
Answer: With that bump comes excess weight and pressure on your joints and ligaments. The second trimester is when most people begin to experience back pain and may feel joint and pelvic pain. As your pregnancy progresses, these aches and pains become more pronounced — if you don’t manage them. But with a little effort and some healthy exercises and tips, these little pains can become manageable. Most women’s posture changes as their belly grows and they begin to lean back, which makes their back muscles become strained. A big culprit is the pregnancy hormone relaxin, which does what it sounds like — it relaxes and loosens your joints and muscles to help the baby make its way out of your lower body. The added weight bearing down on loosened joints and ligaments can create all sorts of aches and pains — usually moderate, but in some cases severe. We suggests heating pads and warm baths or showers and prenatal massage. Regular exercise will not only help relieve pain and help your body get back into proper alignment, it will also help strengthen your body .Wearing some sort of maternity belt for extra support will give you relief in back pain.
