20 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I am 19 weeks pregnant at present. Doctor pescribed me to take iron supplements. My hemoglobin is 10.1. But when I took oral iron, I had suffered from abdominal pain, gastric problem digestive problem etc. I don't understand what to do. Is it very essential to take iron tablet?

Answer: Yess ofcourse...it is essential......bt u can add spinach....beet root...pomegrante...apple....nd much more green leafy vegetables in ur diet

Question: can i take iron tablet at night and calcium tablets at afternoon?, my doc had suggested to take iron tablet mor and this was creating more gastric problem the whole day.i was not able to eat anything bcoz of this.
