30 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I am 29 weeks pregnant and never had sugar before.. In my today's test it shows 165.. Kindly advise the foods to be taken to control the sugar level and will that affect the baby?

    Hi if the readings after food are from 140 to 190 then that is called pre diabetic stage. blood sugars can be controlled by healthy diet and regular exercise. try to avoid fruits and milk for breakfast. take protein in every meal. add some salad to your lunch and dinner. take healthy snacks. green apples, oranges, berries, guava, helps in regulating sugar levels. After every meal try to walk for 15 to 30 min. every food have sugars, carbs. so just keep checking on the carb intake. take more water.
