40 weeks pregnant mother

Question: I am 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant with no complications but labor pains aren't happenings, My Doctor has advised me for induction on 29th October and my EDD is 28th Oct. Pl advise

Question
Answer: There is nothing to worry. Labour induction can be done when labour does not start on its own as per the timeline. Normal labour can start for some women as late as 42 weeks as well. If your EDD is 28th, chances are that you will get into labour normally. If that does not happen, labour induction is absolutely a harmless process.
