Question: Am 6week pregnant having heavy vomiting..donno how to control. Eventhough doctor has prescribed me tablets
Answer: Hi , in first trimester ( first 3 months) , most of the pregnant ladies face this issue. I had sooo much of vomiting during that time and even now if something is not accepted by my stomach , I vomit. So one thing we can do is, observe what food is not causing you vomit and try to consume those during first trimester. Even if you vomit, you have to consume food, as u need energy and nutrition for baby. Don't be on empty stomach for long hours, which causes that yellow substance and it triggers vomit later. Follow what your doctor has suggested to reduce vomit. Take care.
Question: hello doctor! I am pregnant for 8 months. My hb count is 8.6. I take iron tablets daily and always eat plenty of iron food, Even then there is only a small amount of iron in my body. My doctor has told me to get iron injections. I am feeling very afraid of to its bad effects. What can be the reason for this?
Answer: Hello!! dear dont worry,, you can take iron injections, i too had iron tablets becoz i was anemic. Today's advanced iv injections do not have side effects. Sometimes the body does not accept oral iron. You need to increase the amount of iron in your body before delivery, so that you can get rid of the lack of blood during delivery. Go for it.
