Question: I am one month pregnent and having red colour discharge. Is this a problem?
Answer: If bleeding is heavy n continuous consult ur doc immediately...This first trimester spotting can be caused by a variety of reasons such as implantation, infection, hormonal changes, and cervical sensitivity due to increased blood flow. (Such as after intercourse) If you do experience spotting, you should make sure that you wear a pad (nothing should be inserted into the vagina), lie down and rest, make sure that you drink extra fluids and give your health care provider a call, visit n get heartbeart of ur child checked using doppler device,if not get ultrasound done to be sure abt ur babys health. However, as long as you don’t experience heavy bleeding, the passing of a lot of tissue and severe cramping, your bleeding could be inconsequential
Question: hi experts..I am 27 week pregnant .. sometimes I feel water like discharge( no smell) in my Virginal area.. what is this?plz answer me
Answer: Vaginal discharge is normal.
Under some circumstances, you should look out for the consistency and the smell of the discharge. If it is curd-like and thick it could be a fungal infection and you need to visit with your gynaecologist who can prescribe appropriate medications for you. If it is profuse thin watery discharge with a foul smelling odour it could be a bacterial infection. In this case, you also need to consult with your gynaecologist.
If there is white discharge that isn't very profuse and is thin and watery this is normal for it is a mechanism in which vagina cleanses itself. You need to wear a panty liner if it is too much. In any situations of burning during urination or itching, you need to consult with your gynaecologist.
