Question: I am 32 wks pregnant...today i am feeling heaviness in my lower abdomen ...is this normal???
Answer: Some abdominal pain during pregnancy is normal: After all, your organs are constantly shifting, your uterus is expanding, and your ligaments are stretching. And let's not forget morning sickness. But abdominal pain during pregnancy can be much more serious (though much rarer). common causes include: Cramping– You may experience sharp pain due to the cramping that occurs from the uterus expanding. Gas and Bloating. ... Round Ligament Pain– Round ligament pain can occur during second trimester and can cause a sharp pain in the abdomen on either or both sides. Resting comfortably should relieve your symptoms. A hot water bottle or heating pad (on the lowest setting) might help. Drink lots of liquids to stay hydrated. When you do feel a pain, bend towards the pain to relieve it.

Question: hi this is my 26 week running n i have so much pain in lower abdomen, is it normal?
Answer: Hello! Mild pain in abdomen is common But if more than consult the doctor. It typically occurs when the uterus expands, causing the ligaments and muscles that support it to stretch. It may be more noticeable when you sneeze, cough, or change positions. During the second trimester, a common cause of cramping is round ligamentpain. Try to sit, lie down or change positions. Soak in a warm bath. Try doing relaxation exercises. Place a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel on the ache. Make sure you get plenty of fluids.
