Answer: Hi Dear! Dont worry you have been diagonised at the right time nothing to worry. you will be on medication which wud bring your levels under control..if proper medications are taken it will not affect the child. The baby will undergo a metabolic screening test after delivery which in most of the cases proved the baby to be safe. And sometimes food can aggravate the thyroid levels. So avoiding cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, turnip, radishes, peanut, soyabean, kale, spinach can also help maintaining thyroid levels. Limit the sugar intake to balance the thyroid levels. Increase the intake of good fats like avocados, olive oil, salmon, ghee. Do not worry about weight during pregnancy. Good luck!

Question: I am having a thyroid from 2015 may .is there any problem for my baby because of this thyroid.
Answer: Hi dear please don't worry if the thyroid is diagnosed on time and you have been on medication continuously then the chances are less that the baby would get it through you and post delivery there is a thyroid screening test that the babies undergo which detect if the baby has thyroid or not and in most of the case it has been safe for babies, please don't over stress yourself maintain a diet which has been prescribed by your doctor and do not miss your thyroid medicine have them on a daily basis have more water be active if the doctor allows , and everything will be fine. All the best!
