Answer: hello.. dear the fetal weight is good but anterior placenta is that decsribes your placenta position. After the egg fertilises, it travels down your fallopian tube, and gets embedded in your uterus (womb). At exactly this place where the fertilised egg implants in your uterus, your placenta gets formed. Thus, the position where placenta implants and develops may vary from person to person. Anterior placenta, where the placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb).

Question: M 19 weeks pregnant but i cant feel any movement of the baby, m having anterior placenta..
Answer: First time mothers usually perceive first baby movements between 20 to 24 weeks. From early pregnancy the embryo moves actively in the Gestational sac but the movements cannot be felt as it is very small. The first movements are like the flutter of butterfly or even a gaseous movement felt more on lying down still for some time. The fact that your placenta is situated anteriorly makes it even more difficult for you to perceive these tiny movements. With advancing pregnancy as baby grows in size and weight, these movements with become harder like pushes and kicks and you can easily identify them. Also baby sleeps almost throughout the day and there are possibilities that it moves more when you are asleep. So rest assured and all the best. Hope this information is useful for you.

Question: Is there any problem having anterior placenta. I am 14 weeks pragnent with anterior placenta
Answer: The placenta typically attaches to the uterus in the back (posterior) of the uterus, though it can attach anywhere, including the sides, top, bottom  and the front (anterior). So an anterior placenta is a placenta that has attached to the front of the uterus. It is diagnosed during an ultrasound.Though having an anterior placenta isn’t a problem for the most part, there are some things that can be a bit… annoying. An anterior placenta can make those little things that help connect you with your baby in utero harder to uncover. It can just affect some of the things like may be u will feel baby movement late, also it takes more time to feel baby heart beat as well difficult to map baby position.
