Question: I am completing 4 months of pregnancy today, and I still feel nauseous. I am having nutrious food but taking in small amounts because of which I am not able to gain weight. As per the last scan, the baby seems to be healthy. Please advise me how to have a healthy weight gain despite of having nausea.

During the first trimester of pregnancy, many women experience the bouts of nausea and vomiting known as morning sickness. Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any time, day or night. Although unpleasant, morning sickness is considered a normal part of a healthy pregnancy. If u are feeling tired of nausea then u can try following foods: Oatmeal,Bananas, Nuts, Curry, Eggs, Avocado, Dark Chocolate, Berries, leafy greens, salmon, water

Because of this I am avoiding vegetables, milk & milk products and so many healthy food. What I'll have to do for taking healthy food. I liked banana, rice n potatoes only. Answer: Hello, I know during nausea you don't feel like eating anything but for the baby say you will have to try eating small meals eat whatever you like you just can't take only rice and potatoes you should have all other food as well but in very little quantity Here are few remedies you can try when you feel nausea 1. Ginger is one of the most effective natural remedies for vomiting during pregnancy. The smell or taste of ginger helps you reduce the feeling of nausea and vomiting. you can have ginger tea in the morning. 2. Make some cinnamon tea by adding a 1-inch cinnamon stick to a cup of boiling hot water and simmer for 10 minutes. Let it cool and add a teaspoon of honey to it. Drink this cinnamon tea whenever you feel like vomiting. It also improves digestion. 3. Just squeeze half a lemon into one glass of warm water and add a teaspoon of honey and drink this juice daily in the morning.  4. Simply chew on a clove bud whenever you feel like vomiting. Alternatively, you may add 2-3 cloves to boiling water or tea to make a clove tea and drink to get instant relief from morning sickness. 5. You can consume a bowl of yoghurt 1-2 times in a day for a sated feeling. Or just add fresh strawberries or a fruit of your choice to enhance the flavour. 6.
