Question: I am 2 weeks pregnant. Its my first pregnancy. In scanning upon the babies heart white dot are shown. It will effect anything to a baby

It is NOT an abnormality and is NOT associated with heart defects dear. Approximately 5% of all normal babies will have an EIF detected during a routine mid trimester ultrasound dear. Take care.

Answer: hi dear! the dot that is seen in your scan is called the echogenic focus of the left ventricle dear. and its just a bright spot seen in the scan normally this is not a problem as your baby does not have any heart condition dear its just come calcium deposition and there is nothing to worry about it . your baby is fine. you will just have to keep a watch on it dear. take care.
