Question: How to get natural labour?? Will kegal exercise reduce labour pain?? Can I start kegal exercise now?? M 32 weeks pregnant.

Answer: Hello! Kegel exercise does not reduce labor pain. It helps to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles which supports uterus, bladder ,small intestine and rectum. It helps to prevent or control the urinary incontinence which affects most of the women who give birth through vagina. Labor pain cannot be reduced but yes it can be managed by learning the proper breathing techniques. There are few deep breathing techniques which helps to get through the labor. For kegel exercises please consult the doctor.. Also would like to request you to join the prenatal classes which are nowadays held in many cities. These really helps in many ways. Take care
