Question: How to distinguish whether it is labour pain or pain due to growing weight of baby resulting in pressure on lower abdomen

Answer: There would be a persistent back pain and lower abdomen pain with a premenstrual feeling and cramps....and painful contractions and tightening that may be irregular in strength and frequency....bt if it is actual labour then the frequency of this pain will increase....

Resting comfortably should relieve your symptoms. A hot water bottle or heating pad might help. Drink lots of liquids. When you do feel a pain, bend towards the pain to relieve it. Take care.
