It checks the mother's blood to see if there are antibodies that could pass to and harm her unborn baby. It is usually done in the starting of pregnancy but again done in 24-28 week of pregnancy. Answer: This test is done to check the RH incompatibility May be you are negative blood group and your husband is positive blood group so you might have developed antibodies against positive blood you should get this test done to know the antibodies present in your blood
