Question: Hi.. I am 7 weeks pregnant. And today I have got my first ultrasound done. The heart beat of embryo is normal but also the report says that I have some minimal subchrionic collection seen in perigestational region and lower uterine segment. I want to know what is it...????? Please help me
Answer: hi dear!
Subchorionic bleeding (also known as a subchorionic hematoma) is the accumulation of blood within the folds of the chorion (the outer fetal membrane, next to the placenta) or between the uterus and the placenta itself.and the location of the collection is in the lower segment of the uterus. and generally these collection resolves on its own so you dont have to worry about it.
since yours is a minimal collection it wont affect the baby so dont worry just keep a track on the collection in the scan to know if the collection is dissolving.
take care dear!
i hope this information is helpful to you!
Question: Hi... I got positive pregnancy result. I went to doctor she told me to go through tvs. There was no yolk sac seen. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my lmp was 31st July 2018. Is there any problem?
Answer: Dear your doctor may have told you to wait for another 2 weeks and repeat the scan. It is normal for the yolk sac not being visible and later it shows up in the scan done at around 7th or 8th week. So be positive and wait for your next scan. Hope it helps.
