Question: Whenever I lay down on my back for few minutes baby start kicking.. Does he/she feel uncomfortable or what?
Answer: Hello ! Sleeping on your back while pregnant shouldn't cause serious harm to your baby. But you should avoid sleeping in this position after the first trimester and for extended periods of time, for your own comfort and health. When you lie belly-up, the weight of your uterus can compress a major blood vessel, called the vena cava, disrupting blood flow to your baby and leaving you nauseated, dizzy, and short of breath. The best way to sleep during the second half of pregnancy is on your side.
Question: Hi my baby girl is going to be 7 months in a week and she tries to stand up. Infact she holds and stands for few seconds. Is it ok for her to stand on her own because my mother in law says she shouldn't be standing at this age and legs are weak. So we pull her down and make sit or lie down. Pls suggest if she should be allowed to stand up with support for a while. Thank u
Answer: Yes, its ok if ur baby is trying herself to stand herself. It will develop the bones and muscles of baby strong. And also if babies are trying to stand herself that means she is a quick learner. Don't put any restrictions on babies. It is their learning time so leave them freely and let them do what they want to do. Just keep an eye on babies
