If bleeding is heavy along with passage of clots, report immediately to the health facility as it is a sign of incomplete abortion. Your condition can be diagnosed with certainty only after an ultrasound.

Question: Hi m having follic acid since last two days.. m 6week pregnant. But instead of having white discharge m having brown.. since today morning. Just want to know that is it normal or something to worry?
Answer: Hi dear, Folic acid is necessary during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects in the growing fetus. Brown discharge from vagina can be due to implantation. You may experience some normal spotting within the first six to 12 days after you conceive as the fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus. Bleeding that occurs early on in pregnancy is usually lighter in flow than a menstrual period. If you see more bleeding like periods then you have to see doctor.

Question: am 5months pregnant...today hd white discharge mixed with dark brown discharge..is there something to worry about??
Answer: in most cases, it’s completely harmless. The most common cause is irritation: As you know (or will soon find out), the surge of hormones and increased blood flow to the cervix can make it super-sensitive when you’re expecting. So sometimes, sexual intercourse or a pelvic exam can aggravate your cervix, resulting in a bit of brown discharge or even light spotting.
