16 weeks pregnant mother

Question: Hi, im 16 week pregnant still i have vomiting, but m not feeling my baby movement

Question
Answer: For first time mothers it is likely to feel first fetal movements from 20 to 24 weeks. It's amazing but not easy to identify as they are like little flutters, butterfly or even a gaseous movement and is felt more on lying still for some time. Nausea and vomiting though common in the first trimester, can extend till 20 weeks of pregnancy. Have small frequent meals and avoid oily spicy food. You can take rusk, dry cake and a portion of fruit in the morning when nausea vomiting is maximum. Through out the day be motivated to eat something at regular intervals. There are medications available for control of vomiting and they are quite safe in pregnancy. Ask your doctor about doxinate tabs. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Hope this information is useful to you
Answer: Hello! You'll probably start to be aware of something at about18 weeks to 20 weeks of your pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy, it may take you a bit longer to realise that those gentle fluttering feelings in your tummy (quickening) are your baby's movements. If you haven't felt any movement from your baby by 24 weeks, see your gyne. She'll listen for your baby's heartbeat and arrange an ultrasound scanor other checks if they’re needed
