Answer: Hello dear, Most babies will move into delivery position a few weeks prior to birth, with the head fixed to the birth canal.  Please do some squatting exercises, walking , climbing stairs maybe but dont strain yourself too much to cause pain. Baby will descend or maybe will happen just before labor or during labor and its important to be active and moving around and not just lying on your back during labor.

Question: I am 40 weeks pregnant and my babys head is still not fixed into the pelvis..what should i do
Answer: Hi Dear! there is nothing that you can do to get the head fixed at the pelvis this all depends on the baby however it is normal for a few mothers as their baby's head does not get fixed until the labour comes hence I would suggest you to please wait walk more and stimulate the nipple at times it does help and listen to your doctor as to what he has to say because if there is any special condition in your pregnancy then the doctor won't really take chance.. Hope this helps!

Question: I am 39week pregnant due on 26th November.. My doctor said baby's head is still not fixed. Is there something I can do to fix it?? If head is not fixed is there no chance of normal delivery??
Answer: Hi, fixing of baby's head is a natural process and the same cant be forced or manipulated. But it would be a good idea to go for walks whnever possible and be active in whichever way possible, unless the doctor has advised complete bedrest. Normal delivery will be difficult if the baby's head is not fixed but the final call shall be taken by ur doctor closer to your delivery date.
