Answer: Hi.. No dear, you need to take care of your diet. You can start having dry fruits from now on..cashews, almonds , apricots , raisins, dates, walnuts , and pistachios are some dry fruits to eat during pregnancy. Since dry fruits are nutritious, you should aim to include the recommended quantity in your diet each day. You need to include plenty of fruits and vegetables, protein, fibre and carbohydrates in your diet. Avoid unripe papaya and pineapple. Take folic acid and vitamin supplements if required, for your child healthy development and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Question: My weight is not gaining and I am having constant weight from last 3 months
Answer: Hello dear. There is a specific range within which healthy women with uncomplicated pregnancies should stay: For women who start their pregnancies at a health rate, it’s 11 to 16 kgs. (The range varies for underweight to overweight to obese women, as the larger a woman is at the start of her pregnancy, the less weight she should gain to maintain a healthy pregnancy.) Unfortunately, deviating too far from these ranges can lead to serious complications for mother and baby. I would say consukt ur doctor to understand how much weight gain is good for you. Hope this helps.

Question: During my first trimester I was 64 kg n now M 19 week pregnant.. Still not gaining much weight only a kg i.e I am now just 65 kg.. Is it ok?
Answer: Hello dear,  Sometimes women lose weight in the first trimester, then add pounds slowly over the next two trimesters. Also, your body uses more calories during pregnancy, so if you don't change your diet, you'll probably lose some weight, or not gain weight.  Eat a balanced and nutrition rich diet. Try to keep your diet as natural as possible with loads of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also include whole grains, proteins and complex carbohydrates to your meals....Take your prenatal vitamins regularly. It compensates for any gaps in your nutrition intake and acts as a healthy supplement for your and your baby’s health. Hope it helped...Take care urself....
