Question: Hi... i'm 12 week pregant.. i took 3rd month scan.. in that report they have mention to repeat scan for nasal bone.. i'm scared.. is it normal??

Answer: Dont worry in nxt scan you will seen a nasal bone sometime nasal bone not developed soon .....in my scan also like that in 2 nd time only i got to seen ....

so generally if the nasal bone is not present its considered abnormal dear. but we should wait and see still the nasal bone does not develop in your next scan then you will have to do amniocentesis(a procedure where a small amount of fluid is taken from your amniotic fluid that surrounds the baby and it is seen for any abnormality as it contains the fetal cells ) which will confirm if there is any problem with the baby. so dont stress right now it will show by the next scan dont worry .

They don't mention placenta position
Answer: You NT scan is normal and nasal bone is also visible which is a good sign. Placental can also be mentioned discuss with your doctor further. Recheck the reports too
