And sometimes food can aggravate the thyroid levels. So avoiding cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, turnip, radishes, peanut, soyabean, kale, spinach can also help maintaining thyroid levels. Limit the sugar intake to balance the thyroid levels. Increase the intake of good fats like avocados, olive oil, salmon, ghee.
Do not worry about weight during pregnancy.
Question:My wife TSH level is around 4.5 below the normal range. However above pregnancy normal range of 2.5, is there anything to worry about?

The TSH rises as the requested of thyroid increases in pregnancy.so it's better to start with minimal dose of thyroid hormone.as there is high tendency for it to increase in coming weeks.talk to doctor regarding it.
