Question: I am 6 weeks pregnant and suffer sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Is there anything to worry about?
Answer: No dear. There is nothing to be worried. During pregnancy You may notice that you feel period-like cramps or even pain on one side. The most common reason to have pain that feels like cramping is actually your uterus growing or stretching. This is normal pain and should be expected in a healthy pregnancy. You may also feel "full" or "heavy" in the area of your uterus. Hope this helps.
Question: Hi, I was feeling pain in lower abdomen for last 3,4 days but suddenly from today morning pain is gone. Is there anything to worry?
Answer: Hi, same like you I had severe pain in my lower abdomen for 3 days and slight bleeding too. I checked with doctor. She told to take scan and found 'blood clot' near baby at left side.
She told there is no exact reason for this blood clot but here after you should be very careful in your movements. Also she suggested to take duphstone tablet 3 times a day.
On 3rd month scan, blood clot is gone.
My suggestion is - this is common for most of the ladies at first trimester. No need to worry. Walk slowing. Don't use staircase. Don't lift heavy objects. Don't get stress. Have sufficient sleep. :)
