Question: I am 15 weeks pregnant. My ultrasound shows low lying placenta. How it can move upward before 20 weeks? I am on bed rest
Answer: Hello dear, low lying placenta can move up during the course of pregnancy. You must avoid intercourse and report any case of bleeding to your doctor. In a rare case that placenta does not move up also,  chances of anything bad happening to the baby or mother is very less. Avoid jerky ride, heavy lifting and heavy work. If it moves up then no caesarean but if stays down then chances of caesarean are there. Don't worry so much just now. This time will only tell. Hope it helped Take care urself...
