Question: Hello to all,i am 6 week pregnant, yesterday I went for check up,doctor say they didn't find heartbeat of the baby..is this normal ?when will I hear my baby heartbeat?plz help me
Answer: Hello, Don't worry sometimes it's happens between 5 to 6 weeks, a fetal pole or even a fetal heartbeat may be detected by vaginal ultrasound. The fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo. If a vaginal ultrasound is done and no fetal pole or cardiac activity is seen, another ultrasound scan should be done in 3-7 days and go for TVS transvaginal ultrasound can detect a heartbeat with very high accuracy as early as six or seven weeks into a pregnancy. If performed properly the results are considered accurate and reliable.A transvaginal ultrasound finds the heartbeat fairly early, usually between 6 and 7 weeks of gestation. Good luck

According to that your date will be calculated by which ivf method have u used...is it with self egf retrieval, embryo transfer, day 3 donor transfer etc. All if them give different dates...also the heaet beat may be detected late in few cases. So do not worry
