Answer: Hi dear, As your body produces more progesterone to support your pregnancy, progesterone relaxes muscles in your body. This includes the muscles of your intestine. Slower moving intestine muscles mean that your digestion slows down. This allows gas to build up, which in turn leads to bloating, burping, and flatulence. Remedies: 1 have smaller meals more frequently rather than three big meals in a day. 2 Waiting three hours after a meal before lying down.  3 Avoiding fatty and spicy foods, tea, coffee, chocolate and citrus juices. 4 Raising the head of the bed so that your shoulders are higher than your tummy. You can roll a towel and place it under your mattress or simply use several pillows to prop yourself up when you lie down.  5 You can also try the following foods or drinks to see if they help although there is not much scientific evidence of their effectiveness: Milk or curd (dahi). Skimmed or semi-skimmed milk is thought to work better than full-fat milk.  Bananas (kela).  Peppermint tea. One study showed that it helped pregnant women. However, peppermint tea, like other herbal teas, should be drunk in moderation during pregnancy. Some remedies for back pain: 1Elevate your feet when resting, if possible. 2 Use a heating pad or gentle massage on the back . 3 soak your legs in hot water. 4 Avoid standing for long hours . 5 Try taking a hot shower or bath 6 start low impact exercises like walk to increase blood flow. 7 sleep towards one side. 8 apply pain reliever ointments.

Question: hi I am 10 weeks pregnant and I have severe lower back pain plz suggest
Answer: Hello! you can follow these tips Exercise-Regular exercise strengthens muscles and boosts flexibility. That can ease the stress on your spine. Safe exercises for most pregnant women include walking, swimming , and stationary cycling. Your doctor or physical therapist can recommend exercises to strengthen your back andabdomen. Heat and Cold . Applying heat and cold to your back may help. If your health care provider agrees, start by putting cold compresses (such as a bag of ice or frozen vegetables wrapped in a towel) on the painful area for up to 20 minutes several times a day. After two or three days, switch to heat -- put a heating pad or hot water bottle on the painful area. Be careful not to apply heat to your abdomen during pregnancy. Improve your posture. Slouching strains your spine. So using proper posture when working, sitting, or sleeping is a good move. For example, sleeping on your side with a pillow between theknees will take stress off your back. When sitting at a desk, place a rolled-up towel behind your back for support; rest your feet on a stack of books or stool and sit up straight, with your shoulders back.
