Most cases of low amniotic fluid happen well into the third trimester, usually because your waters have broken. If your waters have broken early, you may go into premature labour. Doctors will weigh up the risks of this happening against the risk of infection if your baby stays in your womb. You may be given antibiotics to prevent infection affecting your baby. To keep you hydrated, you may also need extra fluids through a vein (intravenously), if your doctor has concerns.
Once in labor, low amniotic fluid can cause labour complications. For example, your baby may be in a bottom-down (breech) position, and not have enough room to turn into a head-down position.

Question: Hello Doctor. I am now 36th week. My doctor told they will do c-section on 27th week they told everything is normal . Because I had c-section in 1st pregnancy. Now 36th week baby weight is 2743.and bpd 9.25cm. Hc-32.0cm. Ac-31.5cm. Fl-6.82cm. Can I go for operation. Everything is OK doctor. Please suggest me. This month 24 operation
Answer: Hello Dear , you must mean by doctor is saying to get operation at 37 week. Your baby's growth is completely normal but because you have a cesarean earlier so because of that the stitches of the operation must be thin because of which your doctor is suggesting cesarean. See during second pregnancy having a normal delivery can be tricky if you have a cesarean, because the stitches of previous operation should be thick enough to bear labour pain otherwise there are chances that stitches can rupture ao to avoid the complications doctor do operation. Moreover 37 week is considered as full term pregnancy so baby in this week is fully grown and mature and can be delivered.. so dont worry do as your doctor suggests soon your lil bundle of joy will be in your arms.. Take care.
