33 weeks pregnant mother

Question: Hi am 26th week pregnant and hemoglobin level was 9.7 and now it has come down to 8.6, am taking iron tablets but still its liw, so s there any way i can can increase my hemoglobin level??

Answer: Hello dear in pregnancy you will need minimum 10.5 gm/dL  of Hemoglobin. It is responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body. If the Hb level drops, it can cause weakness, fatigue and lead to anemia. Have lots of spinach, beetroot, tofu, eggs, apple, pomegranate, apricot, watermelon, prunes, almonds, raisins, amla bananas, guava, litchis, kiwi.Increase foods rich in vitamin C such as oranges, lemon, strawberries, grapefruit and tomatoes.
Answer: You can have beetroot, pomegranate, dates and green leaf vegetables
