25 weeks pregnant mother

Question: hi,am 25weeks pregnant.. am having pain in stomach and insomnia due to severe cough for past few days... i am taking medicines.. any suggestions to reduce intensity of cough& to stay healthy during whole pregnancy??

Answer: When you become pregnant, your immune system is likely to change. As a result of these changes, you may contract a cold or a cough at some point during your pregnancy. In addition, your illness may last longer. 1. Make a tulsi, ginger,cloves and black pepper kadha and drink twice a day . 2. Tulsi ginger tea to soothe the throat pain. 3. Boil half a tsp of turmeric in a glass of water and drink before bed . 4. Take steam 5. Gargle with hot salty water frequently. 6. Take honey ginger juice thrice a day.

Answer: This is gastric pain. See your gynae if pain is too much. Happens due to the hormonal fluctuations. Eat small diets. Frequently eating after every 2 hrs helps in checking on acidity. Do not eat oily or deep fried foods. Pain below lungs or pain below the last rib is due to gas. Take duphlac 5 ml once a day if unable to potty properly because of pain.
