Question: Hi!! I am in 8th month of my pregnancy and going through bad lower back pain..Too tough to sit or lie down for even 30 mins at a stretch. Please provide some solution
Answer: It is normal due to the growing uterus and hormonal surge. The uterine cavity occupies more room in the abdominal cavity, further pushing the stomach and back. You can try following tips - • Maintain good posture - Stand up straight and tall. When you stand, use a comfortably wide stance for the best support. If you must stand for long periods of time, rest one foot on a low step stool — and take time for frequent breaks. Good posture also means sitting with care. Choose a chair that supports your back, or place a small pillow behind your lower back.
• Wear low-heeled — not flat — shoes with good arch support.
• When lifting a small object, squat down and lift with your legs. Don't bend at the waist or lift with your back. It's also important to know your limits. Ask for help if you need it.
• Sleep on your side, not your back. Keep one or both knees bent. Consider using pregnancy or support pillows between your bent knees, under your abdomen and behind your back.
• Massage or the application of a heating pad or ice pack might relieve pain
• You can also practice yoga

Dear Pains, aches and cramps in your belly legs n back while you're pregnant are normal. If your pregnancy is generally healthy, they're nothing to worry about.
Carrying a baby puts a lot of pressure on your muscles, stomach area stretch to support your growing uterus So when you move around, you may feel mild pain on one or both sides of your body.
*Resting when the pain happens usually eases cramping.
*Sit down for a while.
*Lie down on the side opposite to where the pain is, and put your feet up.
*Have a warm bath.
*Use a hot water bottle or heated wheat bag on the painful areas. If you're planning to use a hot-water bottle, fill it with hot (but not boiling) water, and carefully wrap it in a towel or soft cover before using it.
*Avood sex as it can give you cramps and a slight backache.
*gentle back massage afterwards may help
Abdominal pain could be a sign of something that's not
Question: I'm not able to sit for a long time. My legs and lower back pains a lot after sometime I sit. Can I use tailbone cushion? Would that help. As i'm working I ve to sit in chair during my office hours. Pls help me with possible options to ease this. Thanks.
Answer: Anyways long time sitting is not good after every 1 hour walk or stroll in ur office for 5 mins atleast otherwise it will harm u in later pregnancy. U can use tailbone cushions but sit straight .
