Question: My baby is 10 month plus and his teething period is started and his weight is befor teething is 9 kg and now his weight is 8 kg.. what can i do for his weight gain
Answer: We cannot do anything about baby loosing weight during teething. But u can prepare something which helps the baby in retaining the weight and staying healthy.
How to make cerelac at home
1. 1.5 cup White/Brown Rice

8. 1/2 cup Sago

Ragi – I didn’t add ragi because I use sprouted Ragi separately to makeRagi Powder & Ragi porridge.

You can also employ the same method for larger quantities. The ingredients can also be sprouted, dried, roasted and powdered. The sprouted version is very healthy and nutritious but is a time-consuming process. You need at least 2 days to complete the process.
Method
Soak all the ingredients in water for 10 minutes, rinse and dry them.
1. Dry roast all the ingredients as follows
a) Rice
Roast till they become little like puffed rice.
b) Dal
Roast them golden brown.
c) Sago
Roast them till they are little dry and crispy.
d) Wheat Daliya
Roast them golden brown
e) Horse gram
Roast them till dry and crispy.
f) Roasted Gram
Roast them till crispy.
g) Green Gram
Roast them till the color changes form green to mild brown
h) Corn
Roast them golden brown or till they crackle.
i) Almonds &Elachi
Roast till they leave aroma.
j) Cashew
Roast till golden brown
2. Let them cool for few minutes.
3. The roasted ingredients can either be powdered by blender or mixer grinder or in power mill.
4. Sift the ground flour to make it more finer.
5. The sifted flour can be stored in an airtight container for at least 4 to 6 months.

Ingredients
Green gram 1 cup
Ragi 1 cup
Bajra 1 cup
Channa dal 1 cup
Roasted dal 1 cup
Groundnut 1 cup
Cashew 1/2 cup
Groundnut 1/2 cup
Almonds 1/2 cup
Pistachio 50 gm
Dry ginger 25 gm
Ajwan seeds 10 gm
Elaichi 5 to 10 pods
Method of preparation
Dry roast all the powder separately, until it's nice aroma smell
Sun dry after roasting for one or two days
Put in a mixer , grind coarsely and make powder
Preparation of porridge
For porridge mix 2 tablespoon of this powder with water or milk,stir them continuously ,boil them for five minutes,stir them continuously without any lumps , you can add palm sugar,and make it to porridge consistency and serve.
