Question:I had 3rd degree with 3c tear in my first delivery. Now for 2nd delivery doc is suggesting for caeserian since the normal delivery may cause the same level or 4th degree tear and cause incontinence. So have anybody had the same level tear and tried normal delivery
Answer: Hi Dear! V vaginal birth after c-section on me back should only be suggested or attempted if the previous pregnancy was c sectioned due to issue in baby. If the issue was with you like not dilated well, the Dr. will not recommend you try a vbac. Most Dr. recommend a 3 year gap between babies for the risk of scarring, it also depends on how well the previous c section was done and how clean the stitches are done, and as you have mentioned that you have 3c tear due to your first c-section I do not think your doctor would take any chances please listen to what your doctor says.. Hope this helps..
