Question: I'm 20 weeks pregnant but I still can't feel the baby's movement. Is this normal?
Answer: Hi dear,
Baby movements can be felt as early as 13 weeks in case of second pregnancy.but if it is your first pregnancy, you can feel them not before 25 weeks. It starts with fluttering and progresses to kicks and turns. So please be patient.
Pregnant women describe their baby's movements as butterflies, nervous twitches, or a tumbling motion. At first, it may be hard to tell whether your baby has moved. Second and third time moms are more confident at distinguishing those first baby movements like gas, hungerpangs, and other internal motions.
Question: Hello doctor, I am 20 weeks pregnant still cant feel the baby's movement.. is it normal??
If you are a first time Mom you will need some time to understand the movements, around 19-25 weeks you will be able to feel the movements.
The baby keeps moving in the sac but in initial days its too tiny that we dont understand it but later when the baby starts growing then the movements become sharper and prominent first few movements are misunderstood as gas its so quick but with time it improves.
However for your peace of mind you can check with your Dr.
Hope this helps!
