Answer: Hi dear, You would need to treat pcod first.PCOD is a life style based syndrome.usually women find quite difficult to conceive woth PCOD.they are prone to get diabetes and bp issues too.but with proper diet and lifestyle change you can definitely get pregnant and have easy delivery.include active lifestyle by exercising daily.eat whole grains, complex carbs like brown rice, whole wheat flour, oats, quinoa.protein rich diet would make sure you have slow rise in sugar.lesa salt in diet could help control high bp.consult your doctor before planning for pregnancy. Your follicle is good for fertilization.keep trying .

Question: Hi mam..I am 27 yrs old..marriage since last 3 & half yrs..we tried to conceive..bt its fail..my period irregular.also pcod..its very difficult to me..how we conceive???
Answer: First meet a good gynecologist if you have any problems or issue may be she advise for some test. PCOS have same problem of irregular periods, weight gain. It's a lifestyle health issue and not a disease. So hence Lifestyle need to be changed. No junk food, high sugar consumption is not allowed as in PCOS insulin resistance and whatsoever we eat everything turn into sugar,so consumption of sweet, drinks with high sugar, fatty, maida based food is restricted, try to consume multi grain or millet rotis instead of wheat rotis, rice, pasta, maida avoid, junk food avoid. Add -30 min of exercise everyday be it walk, dance, swimming. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Have dinner early ( one of biggest reason for weight gain late & heavy dinner). Do take vitamin D & folic acid, sit in sun atleast for 10-15 min, flaxseed with luck warm water mrng & night. Increase protein intake. Take lot of water & laugh. Stress is one of reason for hormonal imbalance which leads to PCOS, thyroid.

Question: I m planning to conceive a baby .want diet chart for me n my hubby
Answer: Hello dear. Even while trying to conceive it is extremely important to have a healthy and nutricious diet. Eat a healthy diet when planning a pregnancy 1.) You should eat a healthy diet with a wide variety of foods 2.) Reduce the amount of fat, salt and sugar in your foods (fewer take-aways, biscuits and fried foods). 3.) Eat more plant foods such as breads, cereals, fruit, vegetables, beans, rice and pasta. 4.) Fuel up on: leafy greens, whole grains, eggs, legumes, meat, fish (or fish oil supplements) and water—lots and lots of water. 5.) Steer clear of: Acidic foods like coffee, alcohol, meat and processed foods, which may make your cervical mucus hostile to sperm.  Pay attention to your diet. For both men and women, food and fertility are linked. Stick to a balanced diet to boost your chances of a healthy baby. Eat several servings of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and calcium-rich foods such as yogurt, cheese, and milk every day. Hope this helps.
