Question: Iam 22 weeks pregnant i cant sleep on right or left side because i get back pain if i sleep so. Can i speep on my back?
Answer: when you lie on your back the pressure from your baby and uterus could press your vena cava (a vein that moves blood from your lower half to your heart) and could result in dizziness, blood pressure changes, or a possible blood flow reduction to your uterus. Its ok to back sleep in your first trimester but once things start to grow change it up. Its best to get into those habits sooner than later
Question: I am 15 weeks pregnant and I saw online that it is better to sleep on left side.. But I am unable to sleep On left.. I automatically turn right during sleep.. Is it OK?! Right side is more comfortable
Answer: It's absolutely ok.
There is no hard and fast rule that you should sleep on the left side. It's just so that the blood circulation goes directly to the placenta
That doesn't mean if u sleep on the right there is no circulation
Please look at your comfort more than anything else.
Question: I am 2nd month pregnant.. is it ok to sleep on left and right side. ?
While sleeping shifting positions is a natural part of sleeping u can't control and at 2nd month u can sleep at both left and right side.
If u practise of sleeping on left side it ll be good for coming days coz sleeping on ur left side will increase the amt of blood n nutrients that reach the pacenta n ur baby.
