Question: Hello..i am 27 week pregnant. 2 weeks back during blood test I was tested positive for diabetes. My doctor has restricted me to eat rice n sugar rich food completely. I have cravings for sweets n pastries but I am not able to eat. I checked my blood sugar last week again n during fasting my blood sugar was 107 n one hr after breakfast it was 129 n one hr after lunch it was 139 n one hr after dinner it was 161. I am really worried whether this will effect my baby. And also please suggest me some good food during diabetes...

Answer: Hello lovely lady, you should be very careful about your diet as it will help you to keep gestational diabetes on the bay also if you can control it well as you are already doing then it won't harm at all.
